We pride ourselves on having one of the tidiest market gardens I’ve ever seen. But it’s not luck; it’s down to careful planning and correct management of our No-Dig system. Today we’ll have a look at how to achieve a weed free market garden by avoiding tilling and applying lots of compost. Now, when I say weed free, that’s not entirely accurate; but weeding for 6 hours three times a year in a market garden this size is close enough for me!
