This is probably the most hectic start to a season we’ve ever had at Ridgedale! Contrary to our reputation for being super organised, this year the yard and the workshop are a mess, the egg-mobiles aren’t ready yet, and the next few weeks are going to be super busy; hens arrive tomorrow (and the bird flu lockdown is still on), lambing season is approaching, I want to build a fence at Klätta and leave the sheep there for the summer, a big shipment of trees is on its way as is a shipment of ornamentals, and we need to get the new crew settled in…
