We’re on the West Coast farm, enjoying lovely spring weather. We’ve come to fence off the pasture so that we can keep the sheep here for the summer. Because there are no predators on this side of the big highway, we’re just using sheep netting with top wires and adding metal gates.
Do you have any fencing to do this spring?

We just acquired several acres of highly wooded, raw land and fencing is in the top two items that we are starting on right away. For beginners, we have to find the corner markers and then start clearing a lane between them through the woods. Lots of exploring and land-clearing ahead but getting that perimeter fence in will go a long way toward defining our space so we can start laying out the rest of the farm!
