We’ve had our first delivery day of the year, so now it’s officially spring despite the cool weather. The grass has just started to grow, which means it’s about time we make our holistic grazing plan. In this video I’ll share some of the thinking behind the process, and maybe after watching you can have a go at it on your farm.
Do you use holistic planned grazing on your farm?

Richard, I am hooked on your videos though I don’t need to know most of the stuff that you talk about: it’s just too interesting to miss! Fascinated by the grazing plan. I know that I am way overgrazing our horse paddocks but I haven’t yet worked out how to get around this except by getting rid of some of my paying livery customers which will leave me in a financial pickle in the short term! You may have already done a video on this, or it may be in your book which I promise to buy, but how does your financial planning work out? You seem to live in some style though I understand that you work super hard…..but is it all financially sustainable? Or do you constantly have to raid the piggy bank….?
