NO-DIG / NO-TILL MARKET GARDENING: OVERVIEW IN 30 MINUTES

I’m spending most of my time on getting the cookbook ready for you, but I just recorded a quick overview of how we run our no-dig market gardens for a network of South Korean farmers and practicioners and figured it might be useful for you, too, so here it is.

Have you gone no-dig?

At 2:10 is the design overview of Ridgedale Farm, very helpful orientation to the overall plan which I paused to study. Also look for the return-for-time-spent chart for various farm enterprises, and the example of detailed garden bed planning and planting. Thank you Richard!

Another great video how do you find time to do all you do? Think being organised is probably the answer. Having been inspired by your regenerative agriculture book we are planning out first trials of no dig this season, so we can transfer all our growing over to ND in 2024. We are having issues sourcing a quality compost to kick us off and we have made some of our own starting last summer but not enough, we are hopeful will be able to get bulk in before too long. Have invested in paper pot equipment and did some trials last autumn in soil beds to get the knack of using it. Got the spring onion under way and almost ready to go in.
Is anyone reading this used hydrogen peroxide in a fuming unit to sterilise polytunnel? we had issues last year and this winter fully cleaned and fumed with H2O2 in an attempt to get a deep clean. Would be good to hear of your experiences.
Look forward to your new book my wife devours any cooking information and some inspiration to use more of what we already grow she will welcome.
